Final Fantasy III comes to Android, only in Japan though

Final Fantasy III

Final Fantasy fans would love this piece of news: Square Enix's Final Fantasy III has come to Android devices. But the bad news is, the game is only available for Japan Android users.

Square Enix had launched their Android games marketplace app late last year, which is available only in Japan, with games including Dragon Quest, Crystal Defenders and Final Fantasy. Well, it looks like Final Fantasy III has now come to the Android Marketplace, but unfortunately, users outside of Japan would not be able to get the game. The Final Fantasy III for Android is retailing for 1,400 "points" through Square Enix's convoluted pricing system, which works out to 1,470 yen (approximately US$18). There is no word as to whether Square Enix will release the game outside of Japan or even an English version of it.
