It seems like Star Wars fever in Singapore hasn’t yet abated, and it’ll take another leap forward in September 2017 as the hype build in anticipation for the next mainstream movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi which rolls out on the 13th of December 2017.

1st September 2017 is the second global Star Wars Force Friday II, and it’ll kick off an epic 10-day Star Wars: Experience the Force in downtown Orchard Road and at the Singapore Toy, Game and Comic Convention!

The saga begins with Singapore’s ION Orchard mall transformed into a literal Star Wars set with a trail of exciting Star Wars pop-up experiences and fan-based activities, including the first ever installation of the Millennium Falcon in South East Asia at ION Orchard’s outdoor event space. For aspiring Jedi aged between 4 – 12 this means that they can take part in Padawan Training to train in the ways of Force wielding and Lightsaber mastery under the guidance of a Jedi Master.

Head over to ION Station, Basement 4 and you can Meet BB-8, the heroic droid through a virtual reality experience, or check out street-level activations that include a 3.5m AT-ACT set from Taiwanese toymaker Beast Kingdom and a Darth Vader Hologram from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back!

Singapore’s Toy, Games and Comics Convention celebrates it’s 10th anniversary this year and will also have a massive Star Wars tie-in featuring Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer fighter that will be appearing in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, an interior replica of the Millennium Falcon and the BB-8 VR experience!
