EVGA has announced the launch of its new SuperNOVA G2L series power supplies, which combine the unbeatable performance of the SuperNOVA G2 line with LED lighting. The new G2L power supplies offer 80 Plus Gold rated efficiency and come backed by an award winning 10 year warranty.
The SuperNOVA G2L series PSUs feature a 100% modular design, which helps eliminate cable clutter as well as improve case airflow as you will only be using the cables that you actually need. These units also promise silent computing with the EVGA ECO mode feature which ensures that the power supply stays completely silent when under low to medium loads. The double ball bearing fan will spin only when it is necessary, allowing for completely silent operation.
The key feature of the SuperNOVA G2L series is of course the built-in LED illumination, which should help increase the bling factor of your system. Thanks to the use of highest quality 100% Japanese brand capacitors, they offer a high 90% efficiency or higher under typical loads and come with a promise of long-term reliability. To further improve efficiency, EVGA is using a LLC Resonant Circuit layout.
Available in 750W and 850W capacities, both models come with a single 12V rail that offers a clean output, rail stability and compatibility with the latest hardware. The SuperNOVA 850/750 G2L PSUs are claimed to provide up to 70.8A/62.4A respectively on a single rail.
