EVGA launches two new liquid coolers with RGB lighting

EVGA has launched two new closed loop liquid CPU coolers, which are now available in 120mm and 240mm radiator sizes. The new EVGA Closed Loop CPU Cooler (CLC) 120 and 280 promise to give you incredible performance, low noise, robust software controls and RGB illumination.

Both models come with the new EVGA fans that are designed to reduce noise while providing superior airflow and static pressure. The curved housing of the fans helps lower noise, while the unique blade design maximizes cooling performance. The Teflon Nano bearings ensure a long lifespan. The fans can spin at up to 2,200 RPM, pushing 113.5 CFM air with a pressure of 4.2mmAq. Of course, you only get a single 120mm fan on the CLC 120, while the CLC 280 comes with two 140mm fans.

In addition to a new fan, the CLC 120 and CLC 280 coolers feature a new cooling block with improved flowrate and heat transfer area that boosts cooling efficiency. You get built-in RGB LED illumination as well, with full control over the lighting. You can choose from various effects such as color cycling or even select your favorite color. The EVGA Flow Control software lets you do more than just control the RGB lighting. You can also control the fan speed/curve, Pump Control, profiles, and more. You won’t have to set your preferred settings repeatedly, as the fan as well as light settings are saved to firmware.

The All-in-one cooling solution is completely self-contained, which means you will not have to bother with filling, custom tubing, or maintenance. The intelligent wiring system and sleeved tubing also avoids messy wires, giving your system a sleek appearance.
