EVGA introduces the water-cooled GeForce GTX 970 HYBRID

EVGA today expanded its HYBRID graphics card lineup with the introduction of GeForce GTX 970 HYBRID.

The card comes with an all-in-one water cooling solution with an included 120mm radiator and fan that will help keep the GPU operating temperature low at all times. EVGA is in fact claiming that the card is “cooler than the competition” and manages significantly lower temps than the reference GTX 970 card. The water cooler is completely self-contained, so you don’t have to worry about filling or custom tubing. No maintenance whatsoever. Just a simple plug and play solution.

The graphics card comes with a base clock of 1140 MHz and a boost clock of 1279 MHz. Memory is clocked at 7010 MHz. Pretty decent overclock out of the factory, but the water cooling solution should allow greater headroom for higher overclocking numbers, should you feel the need to.
