Eurocom unveils Sky X9 gaming laptop with desktop NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics

Eurocom today debuted the impressive Sky X9 gaming laptop with the desktop NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 GPU and a desktop Intel Skylake Core i7-6700k CPU with 64GB of DDR4 memory.

The desktop GeForce GTX 980 graphics on the laptop features a fully unlocked GM204 core with 2048 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR5 memory with 7Gbps memory clock. The Intel Core i7-6700K CPU powering the laptop comes with 4 cores and 8 threads, clocked at 4GHz with turbo boost up to 4.2GHz. It can be further overclocked to extract higher performance.

The 17-inch laptop is available with either a 1920 x 1080 Full HD or 3840 x 2160 4K resolution display. Up to four drives can be configured, including 2 HDD/SSD and 2 M.2 PCIe x4 drives in RAID 0/1/5/10. Other features include Killer E2400 + M.2 WLAN, backlit keyboard with customizable 7 colors, TPM 2.0, fingerprint and Kensington lock, Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 audio, two built-in ONKYO speakers with a 2.5W subwoofer, Thunderbolt 3, single USB 3.1, and 2 miniDP ports.
