Eurocom has launched a new ultraportable notebook with the recently launched NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU.
The Shark 4 is a 15.6” ultraportable notebook with a slim 1.1-inch chassis and powerful internals. Despite being thin and light, the notebook offers pretty impressive specifications and doesn’t compromise on power or practicality at all.
Shark 4 is powered by an Intel Core i7-4720HQ quad-core Haswell 47W TDP processor with 2.6 GHz base clock and Turbo Boost speeds of 3.6 Ghz. It comes with The GPU onboard is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M with 2GB GDDR5 memory. A total of 3 physical drives can be configured on the Shark 4 (2x 9.5mm 2.5-inch + 1x M.2 SATA3/PCIe x2). While other manufacturers are starting to do away with optical disk drives on their new notebooks, Eurocom is offering a choice of DVD-RW or Blu-Ray RW drive with the Shark 4.
The ultraportable features a 15.6-inch IPS eDP display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Video output options include HDMI, VGA, and Mini DP ports. You can stay connected to the internet even when you are on the go as the notebook comes with LTE/UMTS/HSPA+ M.2 3042 card module.
Eurocom Shark 4 is available from $863 onwards for the base configuration.
