Early Access single player footage of Call of Duty: Ghosts showcased by Activision

Activision showed off some new footage of the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts single player mode at a ‘Early Access’ pre-E3 event.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next Call of Duty title from publishers Activision (I’ve lost count on the number). In a ‘Early Access’ event held a day before E3 2013 officially commences, the next Call of Duty title was shown-off running on (undisclosed) next-generation hardware. Something tells us that the hardware might be the Xbox One.

In case you were wondering, the dog’s name is Riley, but that isn’t the interesting part. You can actually control the dog in the game (now that’s something new, instead of a new tank of a missile launcher).

Get ready for some scripted action:

Hope you enjoyed the in-game screenshots. Call of Duty: Ghosts is slated to hit the PC, current and next generation consoles on the 5th of November this year.

Stay tuned for more E3 coverage starting later today.
