The DJI Spark Is DJI’s Most Affordable Drone Yet

If you’ve been saving up for the Mavic Pro (S$1499), this new drone from DJI may change your mind! The Spark is smaller and more affordable, but is packed with a host of smart features.

The DJI Spark boasts a top speed of 50km/h, has an endurance of 16 minutes and a transmission range of 100m. It shoots Full-HD video in [email protected] and snaps 12MP images, smoothed by a 2-Axis gimbal. The Spark is controlled by the DJI GO 4 App, which also features a suite of Intelligent Flight modes for the Spark.

More than that, you get the great features seen in more expensive DJI models such as hand-gesture controls, subject tracking and FaceAware – launching the drone using face recognition. They sharply reduce the need to manually control the Spark from your smartphone which is awesome.

So if you need to take a selfie on a bridge, you can launch the Spark just by looking at it, wave it into position, then give the command to snap – no controllers!

The DJI Spark (base model) is available for pre-order now for US$539 (S$745), with a June 15th estimated shipping date. Available in 5 colours: Alpine White, Sky Blue, Meadow Green, Lava Red, and Sunrise Yellow.
