Virtual Reality is no longer the stuff of sci-fi stories; it’s here in a big way. However, not many companies have yet discovered the full potential of the technology. Whether through gaming, education, or marketing, there are countless possibilities to explore. Active Communications International Ltd (ACI) is providing the opportunity to learn all about the latest developments in the realm of VR, and how to make the most out of the new technologies.
The Virtual Reality Symposium (VRS) is taking place 16-18 November here in Singapore. As VR Zone is an official media partner of the event, readers get a chance to attend the event at a discounted rate! Be sure to enter the discount code QVRF1D15 when purchasing your tickets to enjoy the discount.
What to expect
The VRS takes place over three days, including two days of conferences, discussions and roundtables and a site visit to see EON Reality’s VR lab. Keep in mind that the latter, while not incurring additional costs, has very limited availability. Make sure to get your tickets soon as possibly if you want to take part in this.
During the conference period, expect to see a wide variety of discussions take place. Speakers from across the industry will be looking at everything from the overview of the Asian VR market to practical case studies of successful VR products. Both those within the industry and outsiders will find these discussions enlightening and engaging.
A wide variety of speakers
No symposium would be complete without an extensive selection of influential players in the VR. ACI already have a strong lineup of guest speakers confirmed. Manuel Clement of Google will be discussing the latest developments in VR. Emmanuel Lusinchi of Ubisoft Singapore will be discussing how to overcome the challenges VR poses for game development. CEOs, Heads of Marketing and Lecturers from Audi, Alibaba and NTU, will all be present discussing every aspect of VR.
VR Zone will be attending the conference and be covering the major discussions and developments during the Symposium. However, to get the most out of the debates make sure to mark the event on your calendar and come on down. There will be plenty of opportunities to network as well.
