Dell to release new UltraSharp Premium series high-res monitors by October this year

Dell
A number of upcoming Dell high-res monitors have been listed on a certification website. According to the info on Certipedia, these upcoming monitors from Dell will fall under the UP series.

TFTCentral believes the UP series could refer to UltraSharp premium range, which means the monitors could come with hardware calibration support and wide gamut backlighting. Among the models listed on Certipedia are the UP3216Q, UP2716D, and the UP2516D models.

The UP3216Q is expected to replace the UP3214Q model and could feature a 31.5” IPS 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution panel. There is also a possibility of Dell using a 32” AHVA panel on this monitor.

Next in line is the UP2716D which could feature a 27” 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution panel. The monitor is expected to be released by the end of October in Europe and a few other markets.

Finally there’s the UP2516D monitor that will allegedly replace the current U2413 model. As the model number suggests, this one is going to feature a 25” panel with either 2560 x 1440 or the same 1920 x 1080 resolution as the current U2413.
All of the three new monitors are expected to go on sale by October 20th this year.
