Corsair announced its Bulldog DIY 4K gaming PC at PAX Prime, stating that the customizable platform will be hitting shelves in time for the holiday season.
The Bulldog is a small form factor “highly-vented console-sized chassis” that comes with a 600-watt SFX power supply, Intel Z170 chipset motherboard and a Hydro Series H5 SF liquid CPU cooler. You’ll be able to customize the system by adding a processor, RAM, storage and a video card of your choosing.
Corsair is also touting the benefits of a liquid-cooled GPU, mentioning that it will offer a custom GTX 980 Ti in collaboration with MSI in time for the debut of the Bulldog. For customers that already purchased video cards, the vendor will provide cooling brackets and a liquid cooler that will allow them to retrofit their existing video cards to accommodate liquid cooling.
The Bulldog also comes with Wi-Fi ac connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 ports, 7.1 channel sound and Bluetooth 4.0. The integrated mini-ITX board features two memory slots that can accommodate a maximum of 32GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at up to 2,400MHz.
The DIY chassis will retail for $399.
