Corsair rolls out three new mechanical keyboards with Cherry MX Speed switches

K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE with Cherry MX Speed

Corsair has announced three new mechanical keyboards that utilize Cherry’s latest MX Speed switches that are claimed to be 40% faster than regular Cherry switches.

The new keyboards include the K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE, K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE, and K70 RAPIDFIRE. The first keyboards in the world to feature the new Cherry MX Speed switches, these keyboards give gamers the edge over rivals with an ultrafast 12mm actuation point and a light 45g actuation force.

Both the K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE and the K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE feature upgraded per-key multi-color dynamic vibrant back-lighting, allowing users to customize the color, pattern or lighting effect of individual keys. The K70 RAPIDFIRE on the other hand offers the same effects but only in a single-color red LED lighting.

All three keyboards feature 100% anti-ghosting gaming-grade circuitry, full key rollover over USB, USB 2.0 pass-through port, dedicated media controls and volume scroller, and a detachable soft-touch wrist rest to provide greater comfort when gaming for long hours.

Corsair K70 RGB RAPIDFIRE, K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE, and K70 RAPIDFIRE are currently available for a MSRP of $169.99, $139.99, and $129.99, respectively. A comprehensive two-year warranty is included with all three.
