Corsair Force 3 120GB SSD drive review

We perform our power consumption test by installing two digital USB multimeters working as ammeters on the +5V and +12V power lines connected to the drives, checking their current drain at idle and while stressed.

Since the Force 3 is using the same controller and similar chips with the Force GT drive, it is natural that the power consumption would be about the same. The Force 3 consumes only 0.4W when idling and up to 2.0W when stressed.
