Chinese manufacturer Coolpad has launched a cheaper variant of the Coolpad Note 3 in the Indian market, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite.
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite sports a 5” 720 x 1280 HD resolution display and is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC with ARM Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The handset offers 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded by up to 64GB thanks to the included microSD card slot. The rear houses a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a fingerprint scanner as well. On the front, the handset is equipped with a 5MP selfie shooter.
Like the Coolpad Note 3, the “Lite” version is also a dual-SIM handset and offers support for Indian LTE bands. There is also a 2500mAh capacity battery inside with 10 hours talk time and 200 hours standby time. The handset currently runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with CoolUI 6.0 custom skin on top, but the company claims an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is being planned.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite has been priced at Rs.6,999 and will available exclusively via Amazon India. The first flash sale is slated to begin on 28th January at 2PM. Registrations for the flash sale are currently open.
