It’s confirmed, Windows 10 will release on July 29

Microsoft has finally revealed the release date for Windows 10. The latest operating system from Microsoft will be available starting July 29th.

Windows 7 and 8.1 users around the world are now receiving a free upgrade notification on their PCs, requesting them to reserve their free Windows 10 upgrade. Once you reserve your upgrade, you will be notified when Windows 10 is available for download. You can then install it straight away or whenever you wish to. Windows 10 will be available to genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users as a free upgrade only for the first year of its availability.

System requirements for Windows 10 have also been revealed. You will need to have at least a 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a display resolution of 1024 x 600. Fairy low requirements, which is always a good thing. However, if you wish to get the 64-bit version of Windows 10, then your computer will need to meet higher system requirements.
