Colourful and Ink-efficient: Canon Announces Slew Of Pixma Printers

Canon has launched four new Pixma printers in Singapore today. Known for their versatility and performance, Canon has made improvements to the usability, efficiency and design of the printers.

First off is the Pixma Ink Efficient E3370 (SGD 149)printer, available in Black and Red, designed for low-cost printing for students and homes.

Utilising two High Capacity FINE ink cartridges that can produce 400 monochrome and 180 colour documents at a high speed of 7.7 images per minute (ipm) for monochrome and 4.4 ipm for colour. Photo printing is little issue with borderless prints on 4R, 5R and 5×5″ formats. 

Wireless set-up and operation is supported with a dedicated Wireless Connect Button and can be operated with iOS and Android devices with the Canon Print Inkjet or Selphy app. The printer also supports Apple AirPrint Mopria and Canon Print Service for added connectivity.

With their eye-catching pops of colour, the Pixma TS8370, TS6370 and TS5370 will grace any office, study and home. Available in Millenial Pink, Brilliant Green and Navy Blue, the Pixma TS-series printers are compatible with the brand’s new and upcoming paper media like nail stickers.

Pixma TS8370 (SGD 299) – the top of the line

Available in Red, White and Black, the Pixma TS8370 Photo All-in-One uses six inks to produce high-quality photo prints. With Photo Blue ink, the TS8370 is able to reduce graininess in bright-coloured  prints.

A 4.3-inch touch screen LCD display, coupled with two-way paper feeding make the TS8370 more user friendly, along with a multipurpose tray that is compatible with Canon media to produce custom nail stickers.

Pixma TS6370 (SGD 239) – designed for users 

Available in Navy Blue, the TS6350 sports a high-contrast 1.44-inch OLED display and a sloped control panel for easy operation. A button readily generates a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone to access guides for operation and troubleshooting.

For easy monitoring, a smart LED Status Bar on the edge of the operation panel conveys notifications like low ink, paper jams, printing progress and when printing jobs are completed.

Pixma TS5370 (SGD 169) – Affordable option

Coming in Millennial Pink, Brilliant Green and Black, the TS5370 is an ideal all-in-one option for home use. Also offering automatic two-sided duplex printing and two-way paper feeding like on the TS6370, the TS5370 also has a 1.44-inch OLED screen, QR Code button and smart LED Status Bar.

A new Canon Creative Park mobile app allows users to browse documents and images, and edit and print from the app alone. Users can access a library of greeting cards, 3D paper crafts, calendars, scrapbooking kits to fully exercise their creative muscles through their printers.

For added user-friendliness, the printers are compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice-activated printing. Shopping lists, cards and origami templates can all be produced with a command for better ease of use and multitasking potential. 

Launched with the printers are new print media compatible with the Pixma printers. The Iron-On Transfer Media allows for users to customise their cotton-based bags and clothes with personalised designs, and is available for light coloured fabrics (LF-101) and for dark ones (DF-101). Double-Sided Matte Papers (MP-101D) allows users to produce self-designed greeting cards in 12×12″ and 7×10″ sizes.
