Designed for business professionals, the Canon XEED WUX10 claims to be the world’s first WUXGA (1920×1200) LCOS projector that offers near silent operation and the ability to display Full HD (1080p) videos.
Canon Singapore has announced the latest addition to their XEED projector range – the WUX10 – designed to deliver high-resolution, smooth and lattice-free images with amazing colour reproduction.
The WUX10 is also the world’s first WUXGA (1920×1200) projector, capable of displaying Full HD (1080p) video – suitable for use in boardrooms, lecture theatres and conference centres, as well as specialist applications such as CAD, simulations and medical environments.
The projector aims to deliver quality pictures and comes packed with easy-to-use Canon features, such as Auto Setup – which programs images to maximum quality in four seconds – and a built-in network port, perfect for office workspaces.
The XEED WUX10 comes with a 1.5x powered zoom lens which allows flexible placement of the base unit. The 10:0 lens offset also provides easy setup, by aligning the lower edge of the projected image with the optical axis (lens centre) – reducing the need for keystone correction.
On Quiet Mode, the projector operates at a whisper-quiet 31dBA, ensuring that audiences will be focusing on the presenter and not the fan noise. This mode also extends lamp lifetime up to a maximum of 3000 hours.
In terms of connectivity, the XEED WUX10 offers a full range of digital and analogue connections – DVI and HDMI™ terminals, onboard RJ-45 terminal and it also supports HDCP encryption.
The Canon XEED WUX10 is now available at selected authorised Canon dealers at the recommended list price of SGD16,999.
