BlackBerry’s second Android smartphone could go official soon at MWC 2016

According to a new rumor, BlackBerry could unveil its second Android smartphone at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.

Codenamed Vienna, the smartphone will be a more affordable offering compared to the Priv and will feature a physical QWERTY keyboard at the bottom. Alleged renders of the smartphone were published by CrackBerry in November last year.

In terms of specs, the Vienna isn’t going to be as impressive as the Priv or other flagship devices since it isn’t exactly going to be a high-end smartphone. Rumors suggest the smartphone could come with a 5-inch 1080p resolution display, a dual-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz, 3GB of RAM, 18MP rear camera, and a front-facing camera with an LED flash. The handset will reportedly be offered in four different color options.
