BIOSTAR today announced the latest addition to its gaming peripheral lineup, the RACING GM5 gaming mouse. According to the company, the new RACING GM5 is the most advanced gaming mouse that it has produced yet.
The mouse features a unique carbon fiber shell for a sleek gaming feel, with an ambidextrous claw-grip design that will fit both left- and right- handed gamers. BIOSTAR is using tried-and-tested Omron switches on the RACING GM5, rated for 50-million clicks.
The RACING GM5 uses the PMW 3330 sensor and supports fully adjustable DPI settings up to 7200 DPI, users can choose at 500 DPI increments for more precise tracking. Gamers can also use the on-the-fly DPI switching with 4-stage selection from 800, 1600, 2400 and 7200 via the dedicated DPI switch on mouse as well as through the software. You can also adjust the USB report rate between 125 – 1000 Hz with the software.
Keeping up with the trend of RGB illumination, BIOSTAR has equipped the RACING GM5 with RGB LEDs on the screen wheel and the sides. LED indicators merge with the main light for a natural look and provide an intuitive display of the current DPI level. The mouse measures 125 x 67.2 x 37.5 (LxWxH) and weighs in at 130 grams.
