New Beoplay P2 Wireless Speaker Wants To Rock Your Pocket

B&O released a little bite-sized Bluetooth speaker that simply looks snappy. There are no visible buttons here – instead, you swipe and tap your way around its controls, causing similar speakers from other brands to gawk in envy. With its microphone, it supports Siri and Google Now voice activation too.

The touch controls can also be customised to your preference with the Beoplay App, and more. Loved what you were playing the night before? Set the P2 to wake you in the morning with the very same tunes!

To ensure maximum sonic performance for its size, the P2 belts out your tunes with a tweeter and woofer combo, muscled by a 15W amplifier each. Despite that, B&O promises an encouraging 10-hours of juice, with USB-C Smart Charging as standard.

All those internals are housed within a pearl-blasted aluminium shell with polymer backing. You could also bravely lug it to the beach, the pool, or wherever you need some aural stimulation. Its splash and dust resistance mean that the speaker will go wherever you like. Well, except underwater!

The Beoplay P2 Wireless Speaker is available now for S$259 in Black, Royal Blue and Sandstone shades.
