For those who demand nothing but the best for their home A/V set-up, BenQ’s latest CinePrime W5700 DLP home cinema projector might tick all the requisite boxes for the perfect home theatre solution.
With a true 4K UHD resolution at 8.3 million pixels, the W5700 projector delivers BenQ CinematicColor 100% DCI-P3/Rec.709 colour gamut with HDR-PRO – a high dynamic range profile optimised for projectors. This means that content is sharper, more detailed, life-like and vivid than ever before.
Content compatible with these formats, including Netflix’s HDR10/HLG originals will be faithfully reproduced on the BenQ W5700 projector. Factory-calibrated with an extensive battery of tests, BenQ promises out-of-the-box colour accuracy on the W5700.
The W5700 can be operated in several modes. D.Cinema Mode enables 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut but with Standard Dynamic Range in 4K for comfortable viewing.
HDR Mode (Wide Color Gamut Enabled) adds HDR-PRO technology, ideal for 4K HDR and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) content. Cinema Mode enhances the image for living rooms, trading increased brightness to reproduce 100% Rec.709 colour accuracy at 1080p. A standalone HDR Mode delivers a brighter image while delivering a slightly restrained 100% Rec.709 colour gamut.
The W5700 supports 24fps payback while eliminating judder, with a compact form-factor enabled with the next-gen 0.47″ single-DMD DLP technology. Robust optics optimised for 4K resolution delivers edge-to-edge sharpness.
With up to a 1.6x zoom, the W5700 supports a wide range of unique home A/V set-ups with a throw ratio of 100″ @3m, along with vertical and horizontal lens shift and keystone corrections.
Also available in Singapore is the W2700 projector, ideal for Living and AV room. It has 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, along with a shorter zoom ratio at 1.3x. It retails at SGD 2,699 (incl GST).
