AT&T slashes 50% off HTC One and Galaxy S4

If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, we suppose now is the time to sign your name on the dotted line and settle down for two long years.

AT&T is currently offering 50 percent off the newest smartphones, some of which includes the underrated HTC One, the overhyped Samsung Galaxy S4, and the struggling BlackBerry Z10.  The discount applies to all purchases that are between $0.99 to $199.99 USD.  So if you’re thinking about hopping onto the Samsung wagon, you can walk away with the S4 (the S4 Active also) for just around $100.

Enticing as the deal might be, keep in mind that both Apple and Samsung are expected to launch ‘updated’ versions of their flagships soon, with Apple being the purported 5s and Samsung with the Snapdragon 800-equipped S4.  4G LTE-Advanced is still in the works for many areas around the world (including the US), so the new S4 won’t be a zinger to people who wants the latest and greatest.  For iPhone followers, however, the 5S might be worth waiting for, but recent rumors suggest that the S-iteration of the 5 won’t be much of an upgrade compared to the current 5.
