ASUS’s AiMesh meshes connectivity to every corner

ASUS has released AiMesh as a free feature on compatible ASUS router models, available through the latest router firmware update. This feature allows users to create a flexible WiFi network to cover the whole house using compatible ASUS routers. Users can also look forward to easy management and control via ASUS Router mobile app or through the router’s ASUSWRT web interface, while also mixing and matching compatible routers according to their need and budget.

AiMesh offers seamless roaming with either a single SSID (i.e. your wifi name) or separate SSID for each 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequency bands. Unlike other mesh systems, AiMesh is designed to keep the original features and capabilities of ASUS routers such as Adaptive QoS and Parental Controls.

ASUS AiMesh is currently supported on the following routers: RT-AC68P, RT-AC68U, RT-AC68UF, RT-AC68W, RT-AC68R, RT-AC68U V2, RT-AC1900, RT-AC1900P, RT-AC86U, RT-AC2900, RT-AC88U, RT-AC3100.

The following models will receive AiMesh support later on: ROG Rapture GT-AC5300, RT-AC5300, ASUS Blue Cave and ASUS Lyra Series routers.
