ASUS Ultra-low Blue Light monitors receive highest number of TÜV Rheinland certifications

ASUS

ASUS today announced that it has received certifications for low blue light from TÜV Rheinland for 26 of its monitors. Additionally, 28 of its monitors have been certified to be flicker-free, more than any other monitor brand.

ASUS’ new ultra-low blue light monitor lineup is claimed to reduce blue light emissions by up to 70% in order to reduce fatigue, eye strain, and headache. These monitors come with four different Blue Light Filter settings that can be accessed by users by going to the onscreen display (OSD) menu. The range includes PG and MG series monitors for gaming, Designo Series for home entertainment, PA and PB series for graphics professionals, and the Essential Series for everyday use.

The flicker-free monitor range uses ASUS Flicker-Free technology that utilizes Smart Dynamic Backlight Adjustment to reduce flicker. This is achieved by avoiding the lowest brightness levels that could lead to high-speed LED backlight cycling.
