Asus ROG Swift PG258Q Launched in Singapore at S$1,099

The Asus ROG Swift PG258Q, which was made official late last year, is finally available for purchase in Singapore.

Asus PG258Q is a 24.5-inch gaming monitor with 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution and the “world’s fastest refresh rate at 240Hz”. NVIDIA G-Sync technology is supported as well, ensuring the smoothest possible 1080p gaming experience. However, enthusiasts aren’t likely to be too impressed with the monitor as WQHD and 4K resolution monitors are more preferred these days.

For the rest of you, who don’t mind gaming in 1080p, the Swift PG258Q is definitely a great choice. In addition to an insane refresh rate, the monitor also boasts a 1ms response time and comes with NVIDIA Ultra Low Motion Blur technology. The design of the monitor is also gaming-inspired with built-in customizable Light Signature illumination. Other gaming-oriented features of the monitor include a crosshair overlay, an onscreen timer, a frames per second (FPS) counter and a display-alignment function. There is also the ASUS GameVisual Technology that optimizes display settings based on the type of content you’re viewing. Six preset modes include Racing, RTS/RPG, FPS, Scenery, Cinema, and sRGB.

While most of us have forgotten about 3D gaming by now, those of you who still love 3D gaming will be glad to know the ROG Swift PG258Q is NVIDIA 3D Vision-ready. This means all you need to enjoy 3D is an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card-equipped PC and 3D glasses.

The ROG Swift PG258Q can now be purchased in Singapore for SGD 1,099.
