The impressive new Asus Republic of Gamers Strix GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card is now available in Singapore for a suggested retail price of SGD $829.
The VR-ready gaming graphics card is powered by NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 1070 GPU and comes factory overclocked to 1860 MHz in OC mode. Thanks to the high factory overclock, the card delivers up to 7.1% greater performance in the 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme benchmark test and up to 8.5% faster gaming performance in Doom.
The card uses the company’s DirectCU III cooling solution with a patented triple wing-blade 0dB fan that is designed to deliver maximum airflow for 30% cooler and three times quieter performance. It also includes ASUS FanConnect, which features GPU-controlled fan headers to connect to system fans for targeted supplemental cooling. To ensure maximum durability and reliability, the card uses the industry-exclusive Auto-Extreme technology with Super Alloy Power II components. As you would expect from a ROG-branded product, the Strix GeForce GTX 1070 comes with ASUS Aura RGB lighting with various customization options.
With VR in mind, the card comes with two HDMI ports to allow gamers to keep a virtual reality headset connected to their system. Other display connectors include a DVI-D, and 2 DisplayPorts.
