ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced a new wired/wireless gaming mouse optimized for massively-multiplayer online (MMO) games, the Spatha.
The ROG Spatha features an 8200 DPI sensor and a polling rate of up to 2000Hz in wired mode. The included DPI clutch lets users switch between sensitivity levels while in the middle of a game. In terms of design, we’re looking at a premium magnesium-alloy chassis with 12 programmable buttons, including six buttons positioned on the left side of the mouse body.
The main left and right buttons on the mouse are independent and feature OMRON switches that offer a 20-million-click lifespan. ASUS claims the ROG Spatha deliver precise and instantaneous cursor response be it in wired or wireless mode.
Like most other gaming mice, the ROG Spatha comes with independently customizable RGB LED effects on the scroll wheel, side buttons, and ROG logo. Six different presets are available – Static, Breathing, Color Cycling, Trigger, Random, and Battery Mode.
