The very first notebook with the Pascal-based mobile GeForce GTX 1070 GPU is now up for pre-order in Bulgaria.
Unlike the previous generation, it looks like NVIDIA will not be using the “M” suffix this year for the mobile Pascal lineup. While we still have no idea about the specs, the GeForce GTX 1070 inside the Asus ROG G752VS comes with 8GB of GDDR5 memory.
The notebook will be available with a 1080p 17.3” IPS panel or an optional 4K display with 100% Adobe RGB color space coverage and NVIDIA G-Sync support. All variants of the notebook come equipped with the 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6700HQ quad-core processor with a 2.6GHz base clock and Turbo Boost up to 3.5GHz. It will also include up to 64GB of DDR4 memory, multiple storage configurations with up to 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, Blu-ray burner, LED illuminated keyboard with customizable macro keys, and an 8-cell 88Wh battery.
The ROG G752VS is expected to go on sale in Europe starting mid-August for €2,000 to €2,800.
