ASUS ROG curved monitor boasts 1ms response rate, 165Hz refresh rate

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) unveiled the Swift PG27VQ, currently the most responsive curved gaming monitor. The curved monitor boasts a 1ms response time and an overclockable refresh rate of 165Hz, ideal for fast-paced FPS games. The 1800R curvature provides comfortable viewing for long game sessions. Equipped with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, gamers can play without screen tearing and minimum display stutter. Ultra Low Motion Blur technology will also give players sharper objects in motion and more fluid gameplay.

The monitor features ASUS Aura Sync RGB lighting to provide ambient lighting responses that can be synchronised with other Aura peripherals and components.

Being a gaming monitor, the Swift PG27VQ comes with extra customisation features for gamers. The ROG Light Signature is a projection kit that projects onto the desktop surface. Included with the monitors are two ROG logo covers and three blank covers for gamers to create their own light projections. It also has GamePlus hotkey which includes four crosshair options, an onscreen timer, FPS counter, and a display alignment feature to assist in a precise multi-monitor setup. ASUS GameVisual technology provides 7 display mode presets to optimise visuals.

The Swift PG27VQ will be available for S$1399 in early February.
