ASUS ROG announces the Strix RX 460 graphics card

Asus Republic of Gamers today announced the new Strix RX 460 and Dual RX 460 graphics cards.

Like other Strix cards from Asus, the Strix RX 460 offers superior performance when compared to the reference RX 460. In 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, the Strix RX 460 delivers 8.2% faster performance while in Hitman the card offers an impressive 38.6% performance gain. It utilizes the DirectCU II cooling solution with patented wing-blade fans and ASUS FanConnect that claims to deliver up to 30% cooler and 3X quieter performance.

The Strix RX 460 card also comes with Asus Aura RGB lighting on the shroud, Super Alloy Power II components, GPU Tweak II and 14-day XSplit Gamecaster premium license.

Apart from the Strix Radeon RX 460, Asus has also introduced the Dual RX 460 graphics cards that deliver ‘sweet spot’ graphics performance and come with two pantented wing-blade fans for maximum airflow with 105% more air pressure and a color theme that perfectly matches the X99-A II motherboard from Asus.

No details regarding pricing and availability have been shared yet.
