ASUS Republic of Gamers has come up with an exciting new product for gamers, the new Horus GK2000 mechanical gaming keyboard.

The Horus GK2000 keyboard utilizes Cherry MX Red mechanical switches, featuring 4mm key travel and an expected lifespan of 50-million keystrokes. Each individual key on the keyboard is backlit by red LEDs and come with an ergonomically-shaped keycap that Asus claims have been designed to be ideal for gaming or typing.

One of the key distinctive highlights of the Horus GK2000 is its attractive design with CNC-processed aluminum accents, intricately-engineered ‘wings’ and an anodized keyboard plate with a brushed finish. It also comes with a removable 47 x 83mm palm rest to help support gamers’ wrists during long gaming sessions. For greater comfort, you get the option of adjusting the angle of the keyboard with the two-way adjustable fold-out feet. A detachable stand for mobile devices is included as well, allowing you to place them on the top left or right wing of the keyboard and enjoy multimedia content.

Other major highlights of the Horus GK2000 include 100% anti-ghosting with N-Key rollover (NKRO) technology, two USB ports, dedicated media controls including a volume knob, 32-bit MCU, 4MB of onboard memory for storing custom profiles, and a neoprene carry case.
