Asus has confirmed that it will soon launch the ROG Strix RX 480 graphics card based on AMD’s new Polaris 10 XT.
The ROG Strix RX 480 will come with the company’s DirectCU III cooling solution, which should allow it to perform better than the reference card while maintaining lower noise levels. It will also be quite different from the reference card in terms of design, with a black metal shroud and backplate. Aura RGB LED illumination will be part of the package as well.
While detailed specifications will only be shared at a later date, Asus has confirmed that it will include a dedicated HDMI 2.0b port for VR. For one-click overclocking, users will be able to utilize the GPU Tweak II utility. The software even comes with a professional mode for advanced users.
