ASUS has announced the launch of the ProArt PA27AC, the world’s first 27-inch HDR400 professional monitor with Thunderbolt 3 support. Its 27-inch WQHD IPS display has a frameless design with super-thin bezels and delivers 100% of the sRGB colour gamut. With superb colour accuracy, viewing angles and response rate, the ProArt PA27AC is ideal for graphic designers, photographers, and professionals and enthusiasts with an eye for precision and colour accuracy.
Viewability is no issue with up to 400cd/m2 of brightness and HDR10 delivering lifelike image quality. For professionals where colour accuracy and representation is essential, the ProArt PA27AC is pre-calibrated (to ∆E < 2), but comes with advanced exclusive calibration technology on board that includes a 14-bit lookup table and a 5×5 uniformity compensation matrices. Colour parameters are saved on board the monitor’s internal scaler integrated circuit, ensuring consistency across your computing devices.
The ProArt PA27AC offers two Thunderbolt 3 ports for speeds of up to 40Gbps, along with DisplayPort and USB3.1 with power delivery to external devices. The twin Thunderbolt 3 ports grant users the ability to daisy-chain a second monitor or even an additional Thunderbolt device, promising unrivalled compatibility and capability.
