Asus outs N3150M-E motherboard with Intel ‘Braswell’ SoC


Asus today silently introduced a new motherboard that comes with a fanless Intel Braswell SoC.

The new N3150M-E is a microATX motherboard with an intel Celeron N3150 quad-core processor onboard. The chip is based on the Intel Airmont platform and is a fanless chip with a low 6W TDP. It has a base clock speed of 1.6 GHz and a boost clock of 2.08 GHz. The Braswell architecture comes with support for two DDR3L-1600 memory channels, with a maximum of 16GB RAM being supported.


Internal expansion slots include 1 PCIe 2.0 x16, 2 PCIe 2.0 x1, and 2 SATA 6GB/s connectors. Ports and connectivity options include 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, 1 HDMI, 1 VGA, 1 Parallel Port, 2 PS/2 Mouse & Keyboard, 1 Gigabit Ethernet, and 3 audio ports. The motherboard also features onboard audio with audio-grade capacitors and ground-later isolation.
