ASUS launches a new 24″ 1080p gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate

ASUS has launched its latest 24” 1080p gaming monitor with Adaptive-Sync technology, the MG248Q.

The monitor comes with a 24” TN panel with a response time of 1ms, 350 nits maximum brightness, flicker-free backlight, 72% NTSC color gamut coverage, and 16.7 million display colors. Mainly targeted at gamers, the MG248Q offers 144Hz refresh rate and Adaptive-Sync technology which helps eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates for a completely smooth gaming experience.

A number of gamer-centric features are part of the package as well. These include the ASUS-exclusive GamePlus hotkey, ASUS GamePlus, ASUS DisplayWidget software, App Sync, Ultra-Low Blue Light technology, and different display modes. Connectivity wise, the monitor includes an HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort with NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 support, dual-link DVI-D with NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 support, and a 3.5mm Mini-Jack. The stylish and ergonomic stand allows for tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment.
