Asus is adding a new member to its Expedition series graphics cards, the new GeForce GTX 1070 Expedition. Built for maximum durability, the card is said to have been tested for 144 hours by ASUS iCafe Labs. The card was subjected to a 2-hour reboot test as well as 15 hours of 3DMark testing. Having been tested by ASUS iCafe Labs, the card is ideal for gaming iCafes that are quite popular in China.
The Asus GeForce GTX 1070 Expedition card comes factory overclocked with a 1607 MHz core and 1797 MHz boost clock in OC mode. The 8GB of GDDR5 memory is left untouched at 8008 MHz. It utilizes dual-ball bearing fans that do not suffer from the problem of oil drying common in sleeve-bearing fans. As a result, the fans are claimed to last up to 2x longer. The 0dB fans are turned off to a set GPU temp level, so you can enjoy true 0dB silence.
The card is produced using Auto-Extreme technology, an industry-first 100% automated production process, with premium Super Alloy Power II components for enhanced efficiency, reduced power loss, and decreased component buzzing under load. Asus bundles a 1-year premium XSplit Gamecaster license with the card, allowing you to stream and record gameplay.
Display connectors on the card include one DVI-D, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and 2 Regular DP connectors. The card measures 240 x 131 x 38mm in terms of dimensions.
