Asus has announced a series of updates to its ZenBook line of laptops. These all leverage on Asus’s unique ScreenPad technology for enhanced multitasking and productivity.
ZenBook Pro Duo (SGD 4,998)
At the top of the line is the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581). With its characteristic ScreenPad Plus, a striking secondary 14-inch 4K touch- and stylus-sensitive display, the ZenBook Pro Duo stands out from the pack when it comes to performance notebooks.
Building on last year’s ZenBook Pro with its ScreenPad integrated into the touchpad, the ScreenPad Plus now offers greater utility for creatives and professionals alike with built-in ScreenXpert software to leverage the additional display real estate.
The 4K ScreenPad Plus augments a main OLED touch-sensitive display of the same width that is, of course, also 4K.
Sporting 9th Gen Intel Core processors, the ZenBook Pro Duo is the cream of the crop with 32GB of memory and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, coupled with 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD.
Available in Celestial Blue, the ZenBook Pro Duo is elegant with its NanoEdge slim bezels.
With the keyboard moved down toward the user the accommodate the ScreenPan Plus, the ZenBook Pro Duo provides a touchpad to the right of the keyboard that doubles up as a number pad.
For ergonomics, the ZenBook Pro Duo comes with an included palm rest for those who require a deck to prop their wrists up. Also included is a compatible stylus, although any active stylus will be compatible with the ScreenPad Plus.
The laptop provides a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, along with support for Wi-Fi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) for the fastest networking speeds.
ZenBook Duo (SGD 2,198)
The smaller cousin of the ZenBook Pro Duo, the ZenBook Duo is a 14-inch ultraportable laptop that is powered by the 10th Generation Intel Core i7 CPU with Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics.
It offers the convenience and portability of an ultraportable but with the productivity benefits of the ScreenPad Plus.
ZenBook 14/15 (SGD 2,098)
For those who prefer the regular ScreenPad design which places the secondary display right at your fingertips on the touchpad, the ZenBook 14 (UX434) and ZenBook 15 (UX534) laptops offer a newly improved Asus ScreenPad 2.0.
With an improved interface bringing more seamless and intuitive performance, the larger 5.65-inch ScreenPad 2.0 on the ZenBook 14 and 15 is modelled after that of a smartphone to make controls more intuitive.
Quick Key allows for keyboard macros to be executed with a single touch, handwriting is supported, Number Key places a convenient number pad at the fingertips for easy data entry. The redesigned ScreenPad now allows for 2.5 times the battery life.
Powering them are 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPUs, with graphics configurable up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU, and 16GB of RAM and gigabit-class Wi-Fi 5.
ZenBook Edition 30 (SGD 2,198)
As part of commemorations for Asus’ 30th anniversary, the Asus ZenBook Edition 30 offers a premium Pearl-White Italian genuine leather finish that has been handcrafted to reflect the brand’s eye on workmanship and quality.
Hand-stitched details and Rose Gold anodised diamond-cut bevels are accentuated by the 18-karat rose gold-plated 30th-anniversary motif on the lid.
The Edition 30 will come with matching Pearl White mouse, leather-look box and mousepad, and a genuine leather carrying sleeve.
