Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE could support 4K video capture

iPhone SE

Ahead of Apple’s spring event on Monday, fresh rumors have surfaced online claiming the upcoming 4-inch iPhone will be capable of capturing videos at up to 4K resolution.

According to the rumor, Apple is shooting a promo video for the upcoming iPhone SE that will revolve around the smartphone’s 4K video recording capabilities. The promo video will reportedly include a segment showing 4K footage capture on the iPhone SE.

Quite obviously, presence of 4K video recording feature would mean the iPhone SE will come with a 12MP iSight camera at the back and not an 8MP unit as rumored previously. That would put the iPhone SE on par with the bigger iPhone 6s in the imaging department. It is also expected to be on par with the 6s in terms of performance as it might be powered by the same A9 chipset that powers the 6s and the 6s Plus.
