Apple reportedly begins mass production of the 4.7” iPhone 7

iPhone 7

According to leakster @OnLeaks, mass production of the 4.7” iPhone 7 is now underway at Pegatron.

The leakster also revealed that Pegatron will only be assembling the 4.7” iPhone 7 model this year. The 5.5” iPhone 7 Plus is going to be assembled only by Foxconn. While he hasn’t mentioned anything about the iPhone 7 Plus, it can be assumed that mass production of the phablet version is yet to begin.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are expected to be minor upgrades over the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus from last year, going by all the different reports and rumors from the past few weeks. Key changes to look forward to include a cleaner design at the back, more powerful Apple A10 chipset, and a dual camera setup on the bigger 5.5” model.
