Apple may add a Jet White color variant for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

According to Japanese website Mac Otakara, Apple is looking to introduce a Jet White color option for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple is known to launch new color versions with new iPhone models — like the Jet Black option that debuted with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus — but the current rumor says that the company will roll out the sixth color variant to the existing series.

Mac Otakara has a great track record when it comes to iPhone leaks, with the website correctly predicting that Apple would eschew the 3.5mm audio port in the iPhone 7. The site also leaked the existence of the Jet Black option.

That said, the blog itself noted that its source “may be unreliable,” so there is a high likelihood that this rumor may not pan out. Still, it will be interesting to see if a white color option becomes available next year.
