Apple iPhone 6s shipments to begin September 18th, confirms French carrier leak

iPhone

As the iPhone 6s official announcement date nears, more confirmation on the actual shipping date continues to arrive. Today an alleged French carrier leak has revealed that iPhone 6s pre-orders will go live on 11th and shipping will begin on the 18th.

Apple is expected to hold an event on September 9th where it could unveil the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad mini 3, and new Apple TV hardware. The iPhone 6s duo are expected to be powered by the powerful new Apple A9 64-bit chipset, 2GB of RAM, an upgraded 12MP rear camera, and stronger Series 7000 aluminum construction.

However, like previous iPhones, not all markets will get the iPhone 6s on 18th. It might take up to a month for a few markets to get their hands on the latest iPhones.
