While previous reports suggested Apple would be holding a media event on March 15, a new report out of South Korea claims Apple has pushed the event one week further to March 15. Another new report suggests Apple will not be unveiling an iPad Air 3 at the event, but will instead be taking the wraps off a smaller iPad Pro model with a 9.7-inch display.
According to 9To5Mac, the smaller iPad Pro model is going to be similar to the 12.9-inch model in terms of key hardware specifications and will be aimed at pro users. Since it is going to be marketed as a productivity device, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro will offer support for the Apple Pencil and a new smaller detachable keyboard that will connect to the tablet via the Smart Connector.
Apart from the iPad Pro 9.7-inch model and the 4-inch iPhone 5se, Apple is also expected announce new bands for the Apple Watch at the event.
