Apple’s first announcements at its fall keynote were two refreshed models of its Macbook Pros: a new 13 and 15-inch model.

The 13-inch Macbook Pro has a Retina Display, weighs just 3.46 pounds, and is thinner than the last gen model. It’s powered by a fourth-generation 2.4 GHz Intel Haswell dual-core processor and features Intel’s integrated Iris visuals. Apple says the model will sport 9 hours of battery life, and also features 4 GB RAM, 128 GB flash-based storage, and WiFiAC. The 13-inch Macbook Pro will come with Thunderbolt 2, and will cost $1299, which is $200 more than what the earlier-generation model cost.

Users also have the choice of adding Nvidia’s GT 750 M discrete video card. The model features a battery life of 8 hours. The 15-inch Macbook Pro also comes with Wi-Fi AC, Thunderbolt 2, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The new 15-inch Macbook Pro starts at $1999 and both the 13-inch and 15-inch models will be available starting today. Both models will feature the latest OS X Mavericks.
