Antec’s new VSP-5000 case comes with sound-dampening

Antec today announced the new VSP-5000 entry-level case for gamers looking for quiet operation and great value for money. The VSP-5000 comes with sound-dampening materials, so no more worrying about the high noise output even when you’re playing the latest games or running CPU-intensive applications.

To ensure a whisper-quiet operation all the time, the case features side panels made out of sound deadening high-density polycarbonate. There is a fan cover sealing the top panel of the case, further preventing any sound leakage. There are rubber grommets on the hard drive rails and an extra-large rubber feet at the bottom to ensure there are no vibrations either.

The VSP-5000 comes with seven expansion slots, two bays for optical disk drives, one 3.5” bay, four HDD rail mounts and one SSD bay. It is compatible with various mainboard form-factors such as Standard ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX. There is enough space inside to fit high-end graphics cards up to 380mm, quite impressive considering the fact that this is aimed at the entry-level segment.

If you are in the UK, you will be pick the VSP-5000 today for £44.99. It should soon be available in other major markets as well.
