When Google unveiled Android N earlier this year, it promised that the new version would be rolled out earlier than usual. Smartphone leakster Evan Blass has now confirmed that Android Nougat will in fact be released next month, with the 8/5 security patch in tow.
Unfortunately though, owners of the Google Nexus 5 will reportedly not be receiving the update. This means all devices that were launched after the Google Nexus 5 are certain to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update in the coming weeks. This also means OEMs could start working on Android 7.0 update for their devices very soon.
