Analyst claims iPad ‘Pro’ will ship this fall with Force Touch

iPad
KGI Securities analyst, Ming Chi Kuo recently issued a new research note where he mentioned that the upcoming 12.9-inch iPad model would come with Force Touch input.

Unlike the upcoming iPhones 6s duo that will include Force Touch in the display itself, the iPad Pro model will get the Force Touch feature with help of the optional stylus accessory. The reason behind this is said to the poor yield rates with the larger screen size. The Force Touch-enabled stylus accessory will apparently help boost productivity by offering higher precision than using fingers.

The analyst believes Apple is going to begin mass production of the iPad Pro model by September this year and begin shipping the tablet by the holiday shopping season this year. It is expected that the iPad Pro will feature an Apple A9X chipset, USB-C connector, wireless NFC connectivity for Apple Pay payments, and a tweaked version of iOS 9 for a superior multi-tasking experience.
