AMD finally announced its ‘one of a kind’ compact high-end graphics card the Radeon R9 Nano today. The R9 Nano is the most powerful mini-ITX graphics card yet and is designed to enable 4K gaming.
The Radeon R9 Nano is the third “Fiji” based card from AMD, first unveiled at E3 2015 earlier this year along with the R9 Fury and the R9 Fury X. At only six inches long, the air-cooled R9 Nano can easily fit inside the most compact and ultra-small cases out there. You will no longer have to go with a huge case to enjoy smooth 4K gaming performance.
Built on a 28nm process, the R9 Nano features a total of 4096 stream processors, 64 compute units, and 64 ROPs. Just like the R9 Fury and the R9 Fury X, the R9 Nano also comes with 4GB of High Bandwidth Memory on a 4096-bit interface.
The Radeon R9 Nano has been priced at $649 (MSRP) and will begin shipping on September 10th in the US.
