AMD today rolled out the latest Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 driver.
The latest release adds new Crossfire profiles for “Elite Dangerous” and “Need for Speed”. In addition to the new profiles, the Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.4.2 release provides full support for Thunderbolt 3 eGFX ecnlosures configured with Radeon R9 Fury, Nano or 300 series GPUs. Along with full full support, plug’n’play simplicity as well as an integrated management interface for such devices is also included.
A number of issues pertaining to games such as “The Division”, “Hitman”, “Fallout 4”, and “DOTA 2”. A few issues with “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” inventory and character pages in AMD Crossire, AMD Radeon Pro Duo, and AMD Gaming Evolved overlay remain to be fixed though.
