AMD Radeon R9 Nano tipped to launch on August 27th

According to a report published by a Thai website, AMD is going to launch the Radeon R9 Nano next week, possibly on August 27th.

Unveiled earlier this year in June, the R9 Nano is a small form factor graphics card that still packs impressive performance. Although not confirmed yet, it is believed that the Radeon R9 Nano uses the same GPU configuration as the flagship Fury X card but with lower clocks in order to maintain a low TDP of 175W.

Unfortunately, no details on the pricing have been leaked yet. However, the fact that the R9 Nano is claimed to offer superior performance to the R9 390X, it will probably be priced only a shade below the R9 Fury X.
